Important Tips to Generate More Traffic and Taking Lead

So the site is up and running and we need to generate traffic in order to generate leads.

There are a number of ways we can do this:

  • Run PPC campaigns
  • Perform local SEO
  • Get out there and hustle!

So let’s break each method down:

Run PPC Campaigns

The beauty of running PPC campaigns is that you’re pretty much getting INSTANT TRAFFIC which means you can begin generating leads quickly.

The downside of this is that some niches such as very expensive and you may not have the budget to run these campaigns. We’ve already seen that CPC costs for dentists in the Tampa area are pretty high. If this is the case PPC may not be an option. But saying this, it’s all a numbers game. If you’re charging between $25-$50 per lead and it costs you only $10 to generate that lead, the numbers may work for you. Personally, though I wouldn’t do this for the Dentist’s niche to begin with.

Perform Local SEO

Even with all the Google changes, I’m still a fan of local SEO. It’s still not as difficult to rank for terms in most local niches hence why I like it so much. Although it may cost you time or money to rank once you’re there the maintenance to maintain rankings is quite low.

Google can be quite fickle at times but even if they decide to slap your site, it’s quite easy to set up another and rinse/repeat just adapting to the new Googlechanges.If your sites are making a healthy profit then doing this will be just fine in myopinion. I’ll be speaking more about local SEO a little later on.

Get Out There And Hustle!

So sometimes you just need to get out there and hustle to generate leads whilst your other methods are being worked on such as ranking your site for alocal term. No, I don’t mean go out there and do something illegal.I mean get out there and BE PROACTIVE.

So what can you do? Here are a few ideas that would work well for the dentist’s niche:

  • Ask local businesses if you can advertise a flyer in their shop window.
  • Include flyers in local newspapers. I’m not sure how it works in other countries but you may be able to strike a deal with a local newspaper provider where you pay a small fee to the shop owner to include your flyers in the inside of the newspaper. As I’m in the UK I’m not sure how this would work in other countries.
  • Visit salons, spas or your local doctor and be the middle man. The idea is to go where your target demographic visits and ask these businesses to either visit your site call your number.

You can provide a special phone number for tracking purposes for that one business you have a deal with. If your dentist pays you $40 per lead and you pay the salon for example $15 per lead they generate, you’vejust made $25 doing nothing. Remember word of mouth is the best form of marketing. Simply give these business owners a business card to hand out to their clients and let them do the work for you.
